What’s one piece of advice you wish you had when you were an undergraduate student?

Mark Twain has been quoted as saying: “I’ve had a lot of worries in my life, most of which never happened.” 85 percent of what we worry about never happens. And the 15 percent that does, we either handle better than expected or the difficulty teaches us a lesson worth learning. Enjoy the journey. Things will work out. Don’t worry, be happy.

Favorite quote?

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” ―Ferris Bueller

Define fun and what does that look like to you?

Water sports, especially at Lake Powell; Winter sports, especially skiing; Eating, especially Italian; Traveling, especially to the beach; Rooting for the Utah Jazz, Dallas Cowboys, and Boston Red Sox, especially when they’re winning; Spending time with family, especially all of the above.
